Hello,

We have an exciting opportunity for any girls born in 2008-2011; to play for an All Girls 12u and/or 14u Rangers team playing in the NESSL (Co-Ed Select League).  More information is below but we need to gauge the level of interest before we register a team in February.  

If you have any interest, we are holding a Callout Practice on Sunday 1/30 at the Classic City Center (CCC) in Waterloo from 1:00-2:30pm.  After the practice we will be glad to answer any questions that you have, and parents will also have an opportunity to meet with the coach at a "Meet the Coach" session at 2:35PM at the CCC. 

All 11u-14u Girls MS Team(s) will be coached by Carianne Bricker under the direction of Program Manager Joe Imhof.  Carianne is a new Rangers coach this spring.  Please see her bio below for more information about her soccer career.

The long term future for Girls Rangers Soccer is to have all girls teams playing in all girls ISL divisions by the fall of 2022.  If you are interested in that then participating in this NESSL team this spring will help us build towards that goal. 

WHO:  Girls born in 2008-2011

WHAT:  Indiana NESSL league (Co-Ed Northeast Select Soccer League) program.  This level of play is above the recreational level that is offered at local youth programs such as the Auburn YMCA, NASA or the Garrett Youth program but below an ISL division 2/3 team.

OPPONENTS:  Depending on the other teams that enter it could be a Girls only league but more likely would have Co-Ed Teams and maybe even some all Boys teams. 

PRACTICES:  This team would start to practice in February indoors on Sundays and in April Outdoors (weekdays TBD).

GAMES:  The scheduling meeting isn’t until March but the games will most likely be on weekends between 4/1-6/5.  The furthest team away that we know is Warsaw but the other teams in the league will likely be from Fort Wayne area, Columbia City, Huntington.  We would also have the option of entering this team in local tournaments in Fort Wayne and/or the end of the season Starburst Tournament in Columbus Ohio during Memorial Day weekend, but we can decide on that later after we gauge interest.

Carianne Bricker  11u-14u Girls Coach

Carianne Bricker has been the Assistant Coach for Lakewood Park Christian girls high school soccer for the last 4 years. Before that, she spent her career in the center of the field. In her younger years, Carianne played for Chicago Magic under the coaching of Steve Sobey where she learned countless valuable lessons. Her team won various tournaments all over the Midwest and was third in the nation in the Super Y League. Carianne went on to find success both individually and as a team in college at Grace College in Warsaw, Indiana. Taking the team the furthest in Grace history, Carianne and her team utilized hard work, driven skills development, and team-centric soccer smarts to overcome opponents one after another. Coaching has always been a part of how she plays, and she is looking forward to sharing her love of soccer and years of experience with the young ladies in Northeast Indiana.
