For over a decade, Rangers Academy has been serving DeKalb County and the surrounding areas as a center of excellence for the development and growth of its soccer players. We are excited to communicate a change in our Rangers Program Development structure. After strategic and thoughtful review, we are confident that our new structure will best support our Club players' development and experiences, as well as help to grow our organization.

The Rangers Academy will be segmented into three phases; Foundation, Academy and Premier. Each of these phases align to the age of a player and cater to the developmental needs and focuses that exist psychologically, technically and tactically. Within each of these phases, we will staff a Program Director.

It will be the responsibility of the Program Director to create and facilitate the content of their respective academy. It is also the responsibility of the Program Director to communicate and drive what a player should and will be learning technically and tactically during their journey through each phase. Within each phase, the respective head coaches, assistant coaches and team managers will report up through the Program Director. The shared experience, techniques, and overall knowledge between our three Program Directors will allow for seamless and successful transition when players move from one phase to the next. In our Club Transformation Overview we have provided snapshots illustrating this structure.

Specific to the Program Director for our Premier Phase, Samir Hazbic will be transitioning to this role. Along with this position, Samir will be developing some new programs to challenge our elite players. We are excited about the new opportunities Samir will be able to provide to our Premier phase.

We also wanted to let you know that our existing coaching staff is on board with this transformation and will continue to be a key part of our organization as coaches/leaders.
