Rangers Soccer Information (2021-22) -- Travel Soccer (2003-2011) and Little Rangers (2012-2015)

Ranger Families,

Below is more information regarding our Soccer options for the 2021-2022 Soccer Season.  The first section is for players born between 2012 and 2015 and the second section is for players born between 2003 and 2011.  Please make sure to at least read the section(s) that applies to your family.

Little Rangers Fall '21- Training and 4v4 (7u-10u, 2012-2015)

The Rangers have developed a fun, exciting, and professional developmental soccer program that helps educate and develop young soccer players through a curriculum that focuses on teamwork, technical ability, and general understanding of the game of soccer from an early age.

This program includes a Weekly 60 minute practice starting the week of 8/9 and will run through 9/24. Practices will most likely be on Wednesday's from 6:30-7:30

It also includes a recreational style small sided (4v4) games on Sunday afternoons. The games will be played with other players within this 10u program and not against outside teams. There will not be "Teams" as players will be mixed each week / game to try and assure competitive play. The Sunday 4v4 game days will be 8/15, 8/22, 8/29, 9/12, 9/19 & 9/26 most likely at 5pm.

All of these activities will be held at the YMCA Soccer Complex in Auburn right off Indiana Ave

We will also have one or two 10u Rec+ Travel teams this fall that will compete in the Northeast Select Soccer League (NESSL) which typically has teams from the Fort Wayne, Huntington, Huntertown, Columbia City and Wabash areas.  Games are typically on the weekends and we will know more about the game schedule in late August.

This 10u Rec+ team is an additional option.  Coach Ethan will be looking for players from the Little Rangers Training and 4v4 Program who he feels are ready for this next step.  Many of you have already signed up and participated in our 10u tryout / evaluation on June 15th.  If you did not sign up for tryouts and are interested in the 10u Rec+ team, be sure to sign up so we know you are interested.

Also, if you are looking for additional training this summer, there is still time to sign up for our Little Rangers Summer Program.

Rangers Travel Soccer 11u-19u (2003-2011)
Our Fall Travel Soccer Program is for anyone born between 2008- 2011 or anyone born in 2007 who is in 8th grade this upcoming school year.  The practices will begin the first week of August.  These players will also have a season in the spring.

For any player that is in High School this year your Ranger Travel season will start in early November.

Here is a link to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) that may be helpful to a family that is new to the Rangers.

All Uniforms, Warm-Up’s and spirit wear this year will be ordered online and shipped directly to your house.  Here is a link to the Ranger Online Store so you can see all the available options.  For any new Travel Player (11u-19u, 2003-2011) you will need a “Team Bundle” which includes a Home and Away Jersey, a pair of Game Shorts and two pairs of Socks.

Regarding Travel Player numbers, if you are ordering any type of Jersey or Shorts they include a number on them.  If you are a returning player, simply put in your current number and you are done.  If you are a New Player or if you want to change your number we need for you to do two things:  1) Put your first choice for your preferred number when ordering online AND 2) You will also need to fill out this Google Form where we ask for your top 4 choices for numbers.  We will use this information to assign you a number in case your first choice is already taken.  Again, if you are New Player or want to change your Number you will need to fill out this Google Form or we will just assign you a random number if your first choice is not available.  Once you have been assigned a number that number is your number for the remainder of your Ranger career unless you choose to change it.

All orders placed by Sunday, July 18th will be processed and shipped individually. Orders placed by July 18th will arrive by August 10th.

As mentioned at the Team Meetings the Club is investigating a Uniform Refresh for next season (2022-23) since this will be our 5th year with this uniform.  We wanted to make sure all families are aware of this potential change a year in advance.

REGISTRATION (for all Ranger Players)
In order to play Travel Soccer there is some required paperwork we need.  The first three items below can be found on our website under the Forms tab, labeled “Ranger Registration Paperwork 2021-22.  All of this information can be emailed (you can also take a picture of each item if you can’t scan) to Laurie Soulliere our Administrative Assistant at R[email protected].

1. Commitment Form
2. Medical Release Form
3. Code of Conduct Form
4. Copy of Medical Insurance Card
5. Photo (A Head Shot like a passport style photo).

And if you are NEW to Rangers, we will also need:
6. Copy of Birth Certificate

For all 11u-19u (2003-2011) Travel players, if you’re planning to play for the Rangers this year we encourage you to please “Accept” your position.

Please note that if you were at tryouts or if you're a returning Ranger player who will be 11u-19u next season and do not have a position to "Accept" under your player account, it is likely due to the fact you never signed up for Travel Soccer 2021/2022 online.  Once you register for Travel Soccer 2021/2022, then we will be able to send you an invitation to your team that you can “Accept”.

As always, if you have any questions, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected].

Thank you!
