High School Rangers Lead the Way

Ranger Families,

We hope that everyone is doing well and enjoying the start of your High School or Ranger season this fall under these very unusual circumstances.

I just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know the impact the Rangers are driving on and off the High School Soccer Fields this fall.  I am incredibly excited and proud to let you know that the Rangers collectively have Team Captains on eight (8) different High School teams, totaling at least twelve (12) Team Captains across them. What an amazing statistic for such a small Club! I want to congratulate everyone that is a Team Captain and challenge you to continue to lead like as such both on and off the field.  As your team has identified the qualities of a leader in you, continue to be a good role model for your fellow teammates, especially the underclassmen as they look up to you more than you likely know.

I would also challenge anyone that is playing high school soccer that is not a Team Captain to still act like one and be a great teammate this fall.  Be supportive, helpful and a class act to your teammate(s) and work toward improving yourself as well as your team.  There are definitely times when the real leaders of a team don’t have the armband for one reason or another, but that doesn’t mean they still can’t lead and be a great example for everyone else.

Good luck to everyone this fall!  Play hard and don’t take anything for granted because today could be the last practice or game you have this season.

We look forward to seeing everyone back together again as Rangers in November,
