Ranger
Families,
Good afternoon. We want to provide updates
on a few items.
·
The Board of Directors has met and is continuing
to work on a plan regarding team fees.
We will have more information and a timeline regarding this next week.
·
As of right now, we will NOT be attending the
Starburst tournament this spring as a Club so if you have already booked a
hotel room, we would encourage you to cancel the reservation.
·
For anyone that ordered Spirit Wear online or a
Warm-up Jacket and / or Pants, they both arrived after we went on shut-down and
we had hoped to hand them out at the next practice. Since that is no longer the case we will have
all of these items available, plus any uniform items that you did not receive
starting next Monday (4/13). Items can
be picked up at Carla and Daron White’s shop (Classic City Signs) in Auburn
located at 551 N Grandstaff Drive. Their
hours are Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm and we would encourage you to call them
at 260-927-8438 before you arrive and they will try and have the items ready
when you arrive.
·
We are also aware that for some reason many of
you may not have received the email last week from the Club distribution list
so we apologize. We are still
investigating what happened but this email, along with every other one we send
out in the near future, will also be sent to you via your team manager and
posted on the Club website. So, if you
are ever in doubt if you have the latest information, we encourage you to go to
rangerspfc.com
and looks in the “News” section.
·
We will continue to post training videos on the
Club Website under the “Training
Activities” tab so the players can remain
active. If you have any other soccer training videos that you think
would be beneficial for everyone, please email them to us at [email protected]. Also, if you are looking
for more specific training, we would encourage you to reach out to your Coach
and they can provide more specific advice tailored for you.
·
Finally, Craig Jones has graciously volunteered
to help put together a Ranger Club wide video for those that are
interested. He’s put together a couple
of these for his son’s teams and would now like to compile one for the entire
Club, here’s is an example. If you are interested, please send a video
link to Craig at [email protected] by
next Friday (4/17). Thanks Craig!!! He has asked that each video include the
following:
o
Have the ball come from the players right and
pass off to their left
o
Please wear something that says Rangers on it
and SMILE
o
One or two touches, hit a trick if you want and
then move the ball along
Please stay
safe and healthy,
Rangers Academy
