Want to help make a difference?

Region 470 is always looking for people who are willing to commit and help make soccer seasons a memorable one for all the children who play. It doesn't take much to join the Board and commit a few hours a week to help make a difference. You don't even have to have children who play. Volunteers are always welcome. With all the many positive changes taking place within the AYSO as whole, we are looking to expand our Board. We won't lie, some positions are easy while others may take a bit more time commitment. But if we get these new positions filled, in the overall end, everyone's jobs would be much easier.

Some of the changes taking place, would put the coaches in the team formation process, while still being governed by the Board and all of the policies set forth by AYSO National.
As of this year, we, AYSO have gone green. This means no more paper forms and everything is done online. This is to make it easier on the parent and to help their schedules and not having to attend a live event.
This year we will be pushing our Tournament program. We are looking for coaches in  U12. These teams travel under the AYSO title. They are responsible for raising their own monies for Tournaments and such but with the Regions backing.
This year, we are starting the VIP Program. Many volunteers are needed for this. Read our VIP Section for more info.
Next year, the new U4 Jamboree should be here. This is a new exciting program that not only teaches basic soccer skills, but has a new approach that helps teach even the basic fundamentals of hand eye coordination but thinking, listening and developing skills also.

So as you see, many changes are taking place. We need your help. To be able to bring all these programs to our area takes work. The more people we have, the easier it is. Want to help make a difference? Join the Board today... it's all for the children, their smiles, their memories...... Check what positions are open in the Board Member tab, interested contact the Regional Commissioner for more information.
